Kolomenskoye palace and grounds 

Kolomenskoye is a former Russian Tsars estate situated several kilometers to the southeast of the city center of Moscow, on the ancient road leading to the town of Kolomna (hence the name). Here you can see: the Ascension Church, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage monument, the Kolomenskoye museum that houses over two thousand Russian paintings from the 15th — 17th centuries, fragments of wood and stone carving and examples of the decorations of Moscow`s lost constructions and historical objects and also the beautiful park where the reconstructed palace of Tsar Alexei is located. Among natural attractions of Kolomenskoye Park are apple orchards.

Tour of the World War II Museum and Victory Park and Borodino panorama

The Central Museum of the World War II (in Russia also known as Great Patriotic War) is the unique memorial complex which serves to eternize memory of Soviet people valour, heroism and courage during the Great Patriotic War. The Museum is engaged in research, in cultural and educational work, in event management of youth patriotic upbrining. It also renders informational support to visitors. Moreover, it regularly arranges thematic exhibitions in the art galleries and in the exposition halls of the Museum.

Also visit Victory Park and see a unique exhibition of military equipment that has over 300 samples of heavy equipment of the USSR and its allies, Germany and its allies, who took part in the battles.


Borodino panorama is a museum where you can see a 360 – degree painting of the Borodino Battle that was part of the Patriotic War in 1812.  Also there are paintings, documents, weapons devoted to the Patriotic War of 1812. Near the museum at a mass-grave memorial, visitors can pay their respects to 300 Russian soldiers who lost their lives in that battle.
